이 작업은 1970년대 후반 뉴욕의 포스트 미니멀리즘과 뉴 뮤직의 감각을 오늘날의 디지털 환경 속에서 다시 구성한 시도다. 반복과 점진적 변화의 구조를 바탕으로, 당시의 작곡 언어가 현재의 DAW와 만났을 때 발생할 수 있는 시각적 리듬을 상상하며 화면을 설계했다. 직선적인 형태를 기본 구조로 삼으면서도 일부를 덜어낸 듯한 비정형의 흐름을 더해 유기적 긴장감을 형성했고, 각 요소 내부의 텍스처는 사운드의 물질적 감각을 환기하는 장치로 기능한다. 타이포그래피는 조형 요소들 사이에서 긴장을 형성하며 화면 전체의 리듬과 밀도를 조율한다.

This work reinterprets the sensibility of late-1970s New York post-minimalism and new music within a contemporary digital environment. Built on structures of repetition and gradual change, the composition imagines a visual rhythm that might emerge if the compositional language of that period were translated through today’s DAW-based tools. While grounded in a framework of clean linear forms, the image introduces irregular, carved-out gestures that produce a sense of organic tension. Textures embedded within each element function as devices that evoke the materiality of sound, while the typography creates tension between forms and calibrates the overall rhythm and density of the composition.
