CH2P는 2020년 권한서가 시작한 핸드메이드 액세서리 브랜드로, 왁스를 직접 깎아 형태를 만드는 과정을 제작의 핵심으로 둔다. 〈DUMMIES〉는 그 아카이브를 한 번 더 뒤집어 보는 그래픽 zine이다. 출시된 그래픽, 끝내 쓰이지 못한 로고, 중간에서 멈춘 시안을 한데 모아 인쇄한 뒤 잘라 겹치고 다시 붙여 새로운 조합을 만든다. 이렇게 손으로 조립한 면을 스캔해 지면으로 옮기는 방식으로, 액세서리를 만들 때의 ‘깎고, 덜고, 다시 붙여 보는’ 감각을 그래픽으로 옮긴 셈이다.

CH2P is a handmade accessory brand founded in 2020 by Kwon Han-seo, centering its production on carving wax by hand to form shape. Dummies is a graphic zine that turns this archive over once more. Released graphics, unused logos, and halted drafts are gathered, printed, cut, layered, and reattached to form new compositions. These hand-assembled surfaces are then scanned and transferred to the page, carrying the same sensibility of “carving, reducing, and reattaching” that underlies the making of CH2P’s accessories.
